She is America’s Top Model. She is the first Supermodel that said I don’t wake up looking like an editorial campaign. She’s authentic & I truly admire that about Cindy Crawford.
It’s interesting that the models today are not resonating with women like they did in the 90s. The 90s were so much fun. I remembered my first photo shoot at 17 years old. I wanted to strike a pose like Cindy Crawford. I studied fashion magazines which I guess you would call training for a career as a model. My modeling career was short lived but I must tell you I enjoyed my days in San Francisco.
I booked a lot of fashion shows, print campaigns & won a modeling competition for Noubikko, a Filipino Fashion Designer www.noubikko.com. I was always complemented for my walk on the catwalk which made for a mean Jazz Walk. If you are a dancer you know what I’m talking about..
I’ve come a long a way & it’s funny how life works because I always had a love affair with beauty/fashion . I was obsessed so much that I trained to be an Aesthetician. Beauty College was the foundation for a term I trademarked Perfecting Your Potential ™. Now almost 15 years later I stand in my authenticity.
To the girl that went after her dreams & pursues only what her heart desires.
