Organic Beauty

Inspiration Icon Lisa Nicole Bell gave me a copy of the premiere issue of Organic Beauty. Over the past year, Americans spent $7 Billion on natural and organic personal-care products. According to the Organic Consumers’ Association (www.organicconsumers.org).  If you want natural & organic beauty alternatives this is the only magazine that I’ve seen that truly lives up to the philosophy. It’s sold at Whole Foods but check your local newsstands for a Naturally Beautiful You…

Green Do:

For Inner Beauty use “organic” eco-friendly skin care products. Your skin isn’t synthetic so do it some good using a holistic approach –safe & pure. Read the labels to ensure the ingredients are natural.

Green Don’t:

Skin Care Products with man-made chemicals that deposit harmful toxic residue in your body and the environment. A red flag would be the ingredients listed take up more space than the application instructions. If they are hard to pronounce or you never heard of them…not all natural products are created “green”.

I bet you didn’t know that what we apply to our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream in less than 30 seconds. Skin is our largest organ. The more you nourish it and protect it the better it will function & the better you look .

Beautiful Words for you…

‘May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.’

This was forwarded to me & I was compelled to pass on to you I hope you liked it!
