Fabulous Facial Cleansers Ungenita’s Top 7

Are you putting your best face forward?

I have always taken my skin care very seriously and when I graduated from Beauty College I was armed with so much knowledge about the dermis and the epidermis that I experimented with an array of products. Dermatologists often talk about changing up your regimen every three months to a year. I have been switching my skin care for a decade. Think about it the seasons change & your skin is no exception. Whenever I feel like my skin is looking dull. I immediately do a bait and switch. Sounds scandalous but its all for a good cause-your beauty. The funny thing is I always get compliments immediately afterwards. The products on my vanity come in many price points. I think it’s important to find something economical that works & if you want to splurge there’s always a luxurious counterpart. I love makeup but striving for a luminous look without it is just as important. You should be able to go without anything on your skin and still look fabulous. That’s what ageless beauty is all about!

Ungenita’s Top 7 Fabulous Facial Cleansers

Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Soap – This sleek black bar will never go out of style as far as I’m concerned. It’s okay to bar hop if it’s french-milled, 97% natural & highly refined with natural sea mud. For normal, slightly oily and oily skin the concentrated Dead Sea minerals deep clean pores, balance and hydrate cells, leaving skin clean and smooth. Medical journals have long documented sea mud’s therapeutic benefits for those not so pretty skin conditions like dermatitis & psoriasis. Bar-None is not for everyone!

Burt’s Bee’s Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream – I’ve always loved cream cleansers & stumbled across this one at Target. In fact I’m using this cleanser right now. It’s natural & leaves your skin squeaky clean. If you are a Green-Girl this is the cleanser for you.

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel – For the love of my t-zone this concentrated soap free foaming gel in a generous 16.9 Pump has been on heavy rotation in my beauty arsenal for over 5 years. Anti-inflammatory balm mint and lavender extracts soothe the skin, while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans excess debris. If you suffer from breakouts this is the product for you.

Murad Vitamin C Daily Cleanser – I have been a fan of Dr. Murad since the day I learned how to give a facial. This Vitamin C enriched cleanser is scented with Mandarin Orange, Basil and Grapefruit for a yummy face not to mention Vitamins A, C and E to neutralize free radicals.

Arbonne FC5 Hydrating Cleanser For Normal/Dry Skin – When I heard about this product I jumped at the chance to try it. Antioxidants on the inside I have perfected but when I combine this cleanser with strawberry cell extracts I’m a force to be reckoned with. It moisturizes your face & revitalizes your skin. If you want to stop the clock or turn it back FC5 is for you darling!

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser – I’ve been a fan of Fresh for years. I had the good fortune of receiving a generous sample from the boutique at Ceasars Forum Shops in Las Vegas & will be going back for more the next time I’m in need of a new cleanser. Ideal for all skin types it contains rich soy proteins & soothing botanicals to hydrate the skin. If you are looking for a cleanser/makeup remover all in one this ultra gentle cleanser will do the trick.

Cetaphil – The first time I went to the dermatologist he told me to buy Cetaphil. I try to keep a bottle of Cetaphil around at all times. It’s a mild, non-irritating cleanser for sensitive skin. It retains moisture while softening the skin. It’s an excellent makeup remover & you can use with or without water. Good Old Fashion Skin Care without breaking the bank…
