Beauty Campaign For Change

On October 12, 2009 I finally had enough. I realize that I had been sugarcoating, dancing & frankly tip toeing around issues that have been plaguing at my heart. It was time for me to step up & be bold. I decided that I could truly make a difference. Why? Because amidst the doom & gloom there’s an abundance of hope for change. In fact we are led by a president that built his whole campaign around “Having The Audacity To Change”. We are in a change revolution. The world we knew before no longer exists. In order for it to evolve. We have to commit to transforming ourselves from the inside/out. I am 100% committed to personal excellence & provoked to change. What about you? Every morning when I wake up I am faced with the word change because of my glitzy throw pillow embossed with the word “change”. It was time to take the inspiration & put it into action.

I want to be part of something that’s bigger than me. I found my mission. One of my biggest pet peeves in life is how many women have let themselves go…so without further ado I’m starting the 100,000 Women Revolution. Imagine how much better the world would be after I guided 100,000 women to Perfect Their Potential™. That’s right a new breed of women that look better, feel better about themselves & in return strut their stuff in life remarkably. How powerful is that? Imagine how they would influence the world. Imagine how much better the world would be. Imagine the confidence & self worth they will exude? Imagine the increase in health & wealth?

Enough Is Enough…

I’ve had enough of the countless women discounting themselves 50 % OFF. I know why women are not where they could be. And I’m asking 100,000 to stop making excuses. It’s our own fault. Yes, we are the culprit. We are the biggest obstacle that stands in the way of us taking better care of ourselves. We are our own worst enemy when it comes to treating ourselves well & embodying self love.

I Will Set 100,000 Women Free Now

Changing The World 1 Transformation At A Time…The nerve of me yes! But I am ready to change the world because I know with complete certainty that I Ungenita Katrina Prevost can change the lives of 100,000 women. The possibilities are endless. Imagine if you jumped on board with me & encouraged other women who have let themselves go to join the movement now at www.100000WomenRevolution.com

Ungenita meets Robert Palmer

What a difference a decade makes. It was about 10 years ago I was on a shoot in the desert with Robert Palmer shooting “Addicted To Love” The Dance Remix. BTW…it was the same location Shania Twain shot “That Don’t Impress Me Much”. I remember watching the original, wanting to be one of those girls. My dreams always seem to come true. When I got the call from my agent they said they want you to be the Backup Singer (No it’s not my voice, wish it was though). Robert Palmer was so cool to work with. He said you could be the next Tina Turner. Sadly, Robert Palmer is no longer with us but I’m grateful that I had the pleasure of working with yet another legend. I loved pursuing music but my voice wasn’t strong enough. Thank God I learned what my talents are. If you would like to see me getting my groove on CLICK

Happy Valentine’s Day Sunday

February 14th, 2010

Love is definitely in the air.  Happy, Happy Valentine’s Day. Today I’m at the beautiful Sheraton in Universal for “A Day In My Shoes”. A photography exhibit of 25 pieces of women in their shoes with tales of struggle and the courage to triumph life. This event is in honor of Safe Passage Home, a charity organization, whose vision is “Restoring abused women and their children to a new and better life” and our mission is “to provide them with extreme life makeovers within a three-month span by offering restorative services including:safe shelter and counseling corrective dental and plastic surgery to restore physical damage and neglect job placement and follow-up support their own residences with donated furnishing.

I wanted to share the pictures with you from the shoot I did with Amy Friedman of Martin- Friedman Photography. Leave it up to me, to run on a sandy beach in 5 inch Stilettos. Talk about art imitating life. This year has been nothing but risks, stepping outside the box & facing my fears. Grace under fire is a wonderful goal for all women. The minute you step out of your comfort zone you become more courageous & begin to live up to your true potential. Go for it!

Dore' Chocolatt Milk and Sugar Free

Just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Let me introduce you to a dear colleague of mine, Dore’ Damelin of Dore’ Chocolatt. She has found a perfect way to enjoy this life enhancing superfood.

Chocolate is rich in Magnesium. B Vitamins, Serotonin and Dopamine. For sweetness we use the syrup of the agave cactus which does not raise blood sugar levels, therefore suitable for diabetes. Young coconuts are our milk of choice. Nature’s richest source of MCTs. which raise the body’s metabolism leading to weight loss.

Now loving yourself and treating yourself are one and the same. Chocolate is known for its sensual love vibration. It is a symbol of sensuality, pleasure, and sexuality.

Chocolate is the gift of lovers, it is a gift to our selves.

  • "Nutricity For Beauty"™

people-acai-berry-juice I coined the phrase “Nutricity For Beauty” when I learned about “Nutrition For Beauty”. Being in the entertainment business I was so focused on my external body that I was oblivious to the significance of it’s internal functions. Then, around two years ago, I was enlightened by the works of scientist Dr. Alexander Schauss and Dr. Nicholas Perricone. It has enabled me to delve into where beauty starts…on a cellular level. Today I understand how you can maximize your internal and external assets so they are synonymous. This is where authentic beauty starts…Antioxidants are the fountain of youth. Antioxidants are found in plants. If you are not eating enough plants you are accelerating the aging process. If you are not in a hurry to see 30, 40 or 50 then I strongly recommend eating at least 5-9 servings of fruit a day.
  • "Fat-Free Beauty"

Did you know that by eating fruit you can actually flush away the fat? Well you can. Eating certain foods help to turbo charge the weight loss. Certain fruits are Low Energy Density which means that they contain more water, fiber and enzymes then others. These fruits help aid in weight loss.

  • Beauty

Beauty is a dominant theme in western art, as evidenced in Nymph with morning glory flowers by Jules Joseph Lefebvre.

Beauty is a characteristic of a person, place, object, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning, or satisfaction. Beauty is studied as part of aesthetics, sociology, social psychology, and culture. As a cultural creation, beauty has been extremely commercialized. An "ideal beauty" is an entity which is admired, or possesses features widely attributed to beauty in a particular culture.

The experience of "beauty" often involves the interpretation of some entity as being in balance and harmony with nature, which may lead to feelings of attraction and emotional well-being. Because this is a subjective experience, it is often said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."[1] In its most profound sense, beauty may engender a salient experience of positive reflection about the meaning of one's own existence. A subject of beauty is anything that resonates with personal meaning.

The classical Greek adjective beautiful was καλλός. The Koine Greek word for beautiful was "ὡραῖος",[2] an adjective etymologically coming from the word "ὥρα" meaning hour. In Koine Greek, beauty was thus associated with "being of one's hour". A ripe fruit (of its time) was considered beautiful, whereas a young woman trying to appear older or an older woman trying to appear younger would not be considered beautiful. ὡραῖος in Attic Greek had many meanings, including youthful and ripe old age.
